My name is Dr. Roderick I. Wellington, Psychotherapist. It gives me great pleasure to present a therapeutic program concept as it relates to addressing the etiological factors of suicide that inflict young African American homosexual males. The aim of this program would be to educate viewers about this epidemic with hopes of reducing the suicide rate among this aforementioned population. During my doctoral studies, I was given the opportunity to research and conduct case studies regarding the topic and found that through education, support, and appropriate resources, we CAN make a difference, one life at a time!
