Nexus Letter Claims Process
The claim process is a very comprehensive psychological examination that a licensed, Clinical Psychologist administers; Dr. Roderick I. Wellington is licensed in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Claims are individualized and submitted based on the Veteran's experience endured during their military career.
The following represents the procedure for submitting a Veterans claim:

A call is placed to Dr. Wellington expressing a desire to file a claim, often referred by NABVETS

A date and time are established to proceed with the claim process

After a date is confirmed, the exam would take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete

Upon completion of the claim, performed via phone exam, the Veterans claim is submitted to the NABVETS attention (National Association for Black Veterans, Inc./Mr. Michael Riddick/202-528-6249)

Within 7-10 days the claim is submitted electronically to NABVETS

VA normally responds within 60-120 days

There is a $700.00 processing fee to complete the claim; Zelle, CashApp, or Credit Card payments are accepted via telephone or cash in person.
